Welcome to the
AWANA Club at the Calvary Chapel Fernley. AWANA stands
for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" from 2
Timothy 2:15. Here at CCF we get together at
7:00 PM on Tuesday nights for fun, games and to study
God's word. The focus of our AWANA Club is to reach
children and youth with the Gospel of Christ and train them
to serve him.
What is
AWANA?
AWANA is a nondenominational ministry that assists
churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ
and training them to serve Him.
Awana Clubs International supplies the programs, materials and training
for more than 12,000 churches in over 110 countries. Our message is simple: We're here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose
— to win and grow kids for Christ!
AWANA provides youth with a fun environment to learn the gospel through
Bible memory verses which is the cornerstone of learning the gospel through
fun Bible-centered curriculum. Other activities include games, singing,
awards and other opportunities to increase their knowledge of Jesus
Christ.
Each club builds on the previous club materials taking them deeper into
God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear
the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. AWANA teaches the truth of
God’s Word and to follow Christ in their daily lives.
CCF
participates in four AWANA Programs for children in
Grades Preschool through 8th Grade. Please
